BABA ZULA

BaBa ZuLa from Istanbul works at the intersection of Turkish psych rock, folk and experimental electronics. The sound is carried by electric saz, percussion, machines, toys, theremin, deep bass and glitchy details that create pulsating and hypnotic passages. The music is both warm and off-kilter, with a clear political and sonic character. At the same time, the band marks 30 years with new songs and a European tour.
