Julia Bengtson combines Nordic folk music with Swedish pop currents in songs where the grand and the intimate stand side by side. The expression balances the playful and the serious, with a focus on the friction of everyday life and a personal, narrative approach. Geo Pjäserna works in a tight trio format with guitar, cello and drums, where steppe guitar, cinematic melodies and dynamic interplay pull folk jazz in a rougher, more punk direction.
