Lakes & Fires

Lakes & Fires works at the intersection of americana and jazz, with groove as the focal point and melodies that are allowed to stand clearly in the room. The music is shaped by longing and mental images, and vocals and lyrics function more as colors in the whole than as the main element. Support is Club Coyote, an Aarhus trio with dusty trumpet, acoustic guitars, and cinematic themes, where repetitive figures meet precise melodies in a contemplative expression.
