MODERSMÅL + MAZAHER

MAZAHER continues the Zar tradition, where singing, polyrhythmic drums, dance and repetition are central. The ensemble works with several Egyptian forms of Zar, and tamboura, mangour and percussion form the basis of the expression. MODERSMÅL performs as the warm-up act with a selection of folk songs from the homeland.
