Mercenary

Mercenary plays a set centered on material from The Hours that Remain’, where power metal, progressive metal and melodic death metal meet in grand melancholy and hard production. The band also has the comeback album Soundtrack for the End Times’ in its bag, but this evening the focus is on a classic album from the back catalog. IPOMONIA opens with progressive metal, Nordic melancholy and compositions that alternate between technical complexity and melodic sensitivity. Together, the two names form a dark and contrasting metal program.
