Electronic music in Aarhus

Electronic music covers a wide field, including drum & bass, dubstep, electro, jungle and more experimental electronic styles. Some shows are closely connected to club music, while others focus more on sound, composition and experimentation.

Aarhus also has a longer tradition of electronic music. DIEM, the electronic music department at the Royal Academy of Music, was founded in 1986 as a national centre for electronic music and remains a place for education, artistic work and live performance.
